Hurricane Ivan
As we approach the two-month anniversary of Hurricane Ivan, Orange Beach continues to recover. Because of the support and assistance of countless people and organizations, Orange Beach Fire Rescue was able to respond to Hurricane Ivan with professionalism, dignity, and integrity.
Among the responders that assisted us, some agencies & organizations made significant contributions to our success. These include Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Teams VATF-2 (Virginia Beach, VA) & TXTF-1 (College Station, TX); Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) MO-1 (St. Louis, MO); Mormon Lake (Flagstaff, AZ) Hotshot Sawyer Team; Alabama State Troopers; FEMA JMT (Management team); Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Teams; Gonzalez (LA) Fire; and many others.
